Habitat: Apricot is found in Armenia, China, the Himalaya region and other parts of temperate Asia.
Description: Apricot is a small to medium-sized and a hardy tree. Its leaves are broad, roundish and are 8 cm in length and 3 - 4 cm wide. The flowers are sessile and white to pinkish in color. Its fruits are drupes with a thin outer, downy skin enclosing the yellow flesh.
Uses: Apricot is used in the manufacturing of soaps, cold creams and perfumes.
