Habitat: Anthemis is native to Eastern Europe but it is found in parts of the world also.

Description: Anthemis is a plant that possesses erect, hollow, furrowed stem and grows to a height of 15-60 cm. The plant bears long bipinnate or tripinnate leaves which are pale green in colour. Its flowers are white in colour.

Uses: Anthemis has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral and antiparasitic properties. It is used as fragrance in herbal products. It is effective in curing fever, diarrhoea, insomnia, indigestion and heartburn, eczema, skin irritations and a number of other diseases.
